Composition of the preparation
1 ml of alcoholic solution for external application contains 10 mg or 20 mg of brilliant green (bis-(p-diethylamino)- triphenyl – anhydrocarbynol oxalate).
Pharmacological action
Antiseptic agent for external and local application.
The preparation is active against gram-positive bacteria.
Pharmakokinetics
The preparation does not pass through intact skin. At application on the damaged skin it is absorbed in microquantities.
Indications
Fresh postoperative and posttraumatic cicatrixes, abrasions; pyoderma, blepharites. It should be applied also for treatment of healthy skin edges around of damaged places.
Dosage and method of administration
It should be applied immediately on the damaged surface in the form of 1 % or 2 % of alcoholic solution.
Side effects
The allergic reactions are possible at application of the preparation. In case of antiseptic application on eye mucosa the sensation of burning, lacrimation are noted
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Interactions with other medicinal preparations
Not established.
